Once you opt-in to our SMS/Text service for Plan Documents, you will begin to receive text messages to notify you when new Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Plan Documents are available for you to view in MyBlue. If you opt-in to our SMS/Text service for Manage Health & Maximize Benefits, you will receive text messages regarding routine care reminders, helpful wellness tips, relevant health condition-related information, exclusive member perks, and more.
You can cancel the SMS/Text service at any time. Just text "STOP" to the short code to which you are subscribed (258362 or 222762) or visit MyBlue and unselect "text" from your communication preferences. After you send the “STOP” text message to us, we will send you a text message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive text messages from us. You may opt back in by updating your Communication Preferences on MyBlue by selecting text as a preferred channel of communication.
If at any time you forget what keywords are supported, just text "HELP" for help. After you send the “HELP” text message to us, we will respond with instructions on how to use our service as well as how to unsubscribe.
We are able to deliver messages to the following major mobile carriers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Alltel, Boost Mobile, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile. We also send to many minor mobile carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
As always, mobile carrier message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency varies. If you have any questions about your text message plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
