Pam Denholm:
Blue Cross Service Day has impacted our organization in so many ways. So the entire organization comes out and volunteers in the community in one day, but the benefits extend way beyond that. We make friends, form relationships, expand awareness around what we do and what our neighbors are experiencing, and then we gain volunteers and support throughout the years.
Jess Barrientos:
Service Day is my favorite day of the entire year working at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Just having that experience to volunteer and just become as one, and it really is one community, one Blue. Seeing people on site, seeing people wearing the same shirts, united, it just brings me so much joy.
Andrew Dreyfus:
This is my last service day. It's been very emotional for me, but just such an extraordinary outpouring of dedication to our community and to the programs. It's been just heartwarming and it's just so great to again see this expression of our values in the community.
Regardless of where they work, employees can take part in volunteer opportunities, get involved with employee resource groups, participate in live, online learning, join conversations with mental health clinicians, and take part in company-wide virtual meetings with senior leadership.
